Orquesta Pasional

Passion is the first word to flash across one’s mind when talking about Argentinian tango. Pasional in Spanish means passionate and it gives the real essence of this music – impulsive and emotional as well as tender and charming.

Bandoneon, violin, piano, guitar and bass, notably, Dmitry Kovalenko, Konstantin Dorokhov, Mikhail Morozov, Roman Zorkin and Eugene Kozlov united to share with you authentic energy of the Argentinian tango. The musicians studied at famous state musical college “Gnesinka” and Moscow State Conservatory named for P. I. Tchaikovsky , performed at various scenes and took part in many festivals of Argentinian tango both in Russia and abroad.

The Pasional orquesta repertoire includes tangos, waltzes and milongas from the golden age (1930-1950) till nowadays as well as compositions written by the musicians. To find the sound of the real tango the Pasionals are experimenting with the classical and their own arrangements.
